About Laura
Born and raised in Dracena, a small town in the countryside of São Paulo, Laura has always been curious about beauty.
From an early age, she began to refine her eye during clothing fittings at the atelier of her seamstress—poetically named Aurora. Aurora and Laura’s mother always embraced the classic way of making clothes: artisanal sewing, marked by careful craftsmanship and polished finishes.

Laura grew up surrounded by images of fashion, elegant garments, and sunlit summer scenes—both in Dracena and during travels to her family's homeland, Italy.

She studied law and worked in the field of environmental law. But after a few years, she chose to follow her true calling: fashion.
She moved to Milan to study, and upon returning to Brazil, she was invited to join the team at Harper’s Bazaar, which had just launched its Brazilian edition.

While working as a stylist at the magazine, Laura decided to slow down and reprogram her lifestyle—allowing herself to look inward from a completely new perspective.
A new way of seeing life, a new way of seeing fashion. Calmer. More conscious.

From this stitching together of memories and reconnection, the brand’s first collection was born: Dracena.
